Information we collect
In order to provide our customers with our products and services, we may collect and use personal information about you and others. If we are not provided with all the personal information we request, we may not be able to supply our products and services.

The type of information we collect includes, but is not limited to, names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, vehicle information and credit card details (if you buy products or services from us).

We do not normally collect or store ‘sensitive information’, as defined in the Privacy Act 1988 (eg. information about ethnic origin, religious beliefs or health). However, where we are required to and it is practicable to do so for the sole purpose of providing our products or services, we will seek your consent before collecting your sensitive information and inform you of the purpose at the same time.


How we collect personal information
We collect an individual’s personal information from that individual.  For example when we ask you to complete a digital assessment process, we ask you to send us images, video and information about your vehicle.

We also collect personal information from someone other than the individual, for example from other organisations such as your insurance company, who will pass your personal information to us. 

How we use personal information
The information that we will gather directly from the individual and/or the collection of data from other organisations is for the sole purpose of providing products and services, such as facilitating repairs to your vehicle.

Disclosing your personal information
We will only share your personal information when it is necessary to perform our services, for example to our repair partners who will be involved in facilitating services and/or repairs to your vehicle. 


How we store personal information
We take reasonable steps, including the implementation of administrative, technical and physical safeguards, to keep secure any personal information which we hold about you and to protect your personal information from loss, misuse or unauthorised alteration. Any personal information that we collect is stored on secure servers. Access to personal information is limited to those of our personnel who specifically need it to carry out their business responsibilities. 


Other information we may collect        
Internet browser – certain analytical data is collected from our website so that we can understand browsing habits of our users and/or to identify products and services that may assist our customers. This information is aggregated, generic and is limited to monitor site usage levels.  We do not collect any personal information associated with our website use.

Cookies – these are text files which contain small amounts of information which are downloaded to your personal computer, mobile or other device when you use our website. Cookies are sent back to the originating website on each subsequent visit, or any other website that recognises the cookie. Cookies are used to try and improve your browsing experience by remembering your preferences, letting you navigate more efficiently and can also help to ensure that adverts that you see online are more relevant to you and your interests.

Access
If at any time you want to know what personal information we hold about you, you are welcome to request access to that information by contacting us, using the details listed below. However, where:
-       the access impacts on the privacy of others;
-       the request for access is frivolous or vexatious;
-       there are existing or anticipated legal proceedings; or
-       such access can be denied under law or by a law enforcement agency,

We may deny your request for access.

If we deny your request for access, we will provide you with written notice setting out the reasons for the refusal, and any mechanism available to you to complain about the refusal.

We may also charge a fee to cover the reasonable costs we incur in processing your request.

Quality & Correction
At all times we strive to ensure that the information we hold about you is accurate, complete and up-to-date. If at any time you believe the personal information that we hold about you is incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate, you should let us know. We will use reasonable efforts to correct the information.

Changes to our Privacy Policy
As our business evolves our business processes and policies will be reviewed and may be revised. We may change our Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you of any change by posting an updated version of our Privacy Policy on our website.
